mountains + utah = mountahs

So according to Aaliyah we went to the mountah's this past weekend. So funny :) We really were in Yosemite but she thinks Mountains and Utah go together! Cute.

Getting a little bit tired....i love this little girl's tired face :)

Aaliyah loved climbing on the rocks!! She looked like a little professional rock climber. She was so careful and really thought out her every move. She was so excited that she could climb the rocks and loved getting so dirty.

The falls were at 130% of their capacity and they were amazing. The water was so beautiful and the weather was absolutely perfect. It wasn't even hot until 2:30 when we were done with our hike. Look at all that water!

So, the funniest thing happened. We were a little bit naughty and fed the squirrels... and Aaliyah looked at us and said in the cutest voice, "Mommy, the squirrel wants morrrre!" In ASL, more is signed by doing just what the squirrel is doing with it's hands. It was so cute that she thought he was signing back to her :)

Were were almost to the top of the fall when Aaliyah told her daddy, "I love this place." We had been asking her on the way into the park if she loved this place and what she thought about the falls and I guess she caught on to it. She really did LOVE being there. She wanted to know why the water was falling. She kept asking "Why it is falling, mommy?" and it was sooo funny!

Right before we got to the wet part she fell asleep. Poor girl was just worn out!

Here are Derek and Lila getting snuggly on the rock at the top of the falls. Aaliyah was really chilly when we got up there. We were wet and it was quite chilly by the water.

And now we are off the Reno this weekend for Dylan's basketball tournament and our last Jensen family vacation before Derek leaves on his mission on June 3rd..... :( :( :(
